Fundraising in Memory of my Sister

In 2024, I lost my sister, Megan, to brain cancer.
She wasn’t just my sister—she was also part of Crystal Bar Soap. She was the voice behind customer emails, the person who nurtured our wholesale relationships, and someone who helped shape the way this business showed up in the world.

If you’ve ever received a thoughtful reply, felt taken care of as a customer, or experienced the warmth behind this brand… there’s a good chance that was her.

Her loss changed everything.

Not just in my personal life—but in the rhythm of this business, too. There was an emptiness where her energy used to be. A quiet where there was once laughter, care, and constant support.

It’s been a season of grief, but also a season of finding my way back to joy. Running became that path for me, and it’s what’s led me to take on the 2026 NYC Marathon in support of the Ulman Foundation.

Step by step, mile by mile, I found a version of myself that could breathe again. And through running, I found community—people who reminded me that life can still be full, even after loss.

Losing Megan taught me something I carry with me every single day:
life is not promised, and joy is something we have to choose while we’re here.

That’s why I’m running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.
To experience something big, alive, and unforgettable.
To honor her.
And to give back.

This is something deeply personal, and I wanted to share it with you—because this community has always been part of my story.

If you feel moved to contribute, you can donate below.

Every bit of support goes toward the Ulman Foundation and the work they do for young adults facing cancer.

Thank you for being here 🤍
